So I made a track this morning which is called "Tschernobyl", which sounds very much like Blade Runners soundtrack, Its getting good reviews on other platforms already including Soundcloud and Facebook, mind you I have had to plug the hell out of it. Tschernobyl is German for Chernobyl, the Nuclear power station in Ukraine that had a hissy fit and went full melt down in 1986, which out of total death toll and fall out is the worst nuclear that ever happened, Fukishima nuclear disaster doesn't even really come close, but mind its still really bad anyway around. I named this way because of the song called "Radioactivity" by the German band Kraftwerk, they word as it "terra-schnebble", which is interesting because I've never heard it called like that. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/758453

I did a track yesterday called "Feel the way I do" which is my new piano ballad, it just new singing to be recorded. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/758289  But this contains my own vocal which isn't that bad actually.

Also the new track released on Fireball01e's channel yesterday, which partially made by me. The tracks called "Creation" the song only uses Vanguard and all sounds are made from scratch. I'm mainly using Vangaurd now as its best sounding and most easiest to make sounds with, so there will be more Vangaurd tracks up in the near future, with cool sound scapes and cool sound effects. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/758359

I also finished making a track called "The game of life", which I have released on here and played in live http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/758327

And thankyou very much to who ever went zero bombed the last five projects, don't know what your beef is, but since on soundcloud I've has seven hundred plays in the last day doesn't mean that the music is shit! Who ever just a nasty twat that obviously A.) obvioulsly doesn't make music and B.) Does not respect good music. I imagine it the same person that has a right grudge against this channel. Sorry if I sound mean, but I've been at this for twenty years, sold fifteen albums (Which sold ten thousand copies) I come here to show some music and then just get shat on. Which ain't cool in any respect.

What I'm doing, influences and direction...

When I was growing, about seven years old, I wanted to be like my old man, I wanted to play the Trombone. I got lessons at school (beats bunking off and it was a sanctioned break from classes, so I was happy either way), I learned for a few years, joined a band, did my grade seven at the age of eleven, and then alongside my cubscout troop I joined the 1st worthing scout band. My most memorable moment is playing in London at the a massive scout, beaver and cubs event at the royal albert hall, this is where I had a solo, written at that point by my own father as well as conducted by him, in front of about five thousand people. I've always been inspired to someday get back there, but I need to start somewhere! So I know and can play, drums, accordion, violin and keyboards/organs. So basically I am a band by myself. I've spent the last few years looking for a singer, now I've found him which is amazing and he has same view of wanting get back onto stage to do his acts while singing a few numbers.

I've spent the last week going through my most popular music as well as old legacy material. I've got fifteen songs! All I can play live to some degree of professionalism. But we are still looking for a lady to sing on two tracks. So if you what it takes and recording please get in contact if you are interested.

I've recently being listening to bands like Caravan Palace, JMJ, Kraftwerk, Daft punk to name a few, and now since seeing Jean Michel Jarre play live, I've playing around a lot more with SFX from Synthesis and instead of building on top of presets, I've now got a fairly substantial library of my own sounds.

Getting the trombone back will mean I maybe able to do something along the lines of Caravan Palace, but I'm go for an cross between 70's, 80's, and some 90's music, but with classical band aspects. It's going to be pain the bum to produce this album with how meticulous I want to sound, If it don't come sounding clean I'll not release until I get it right. I've got a proper studio sorted as well as a well Brighton mix artist.

Due to meeting up with Al, we now access to the Dome studio in brighton that has its own studio and Rehearsal space as well as that the dome has three stages and it's amazing to be given the chance to potentially play at this venue.

Al's already practiced with me singing and I think adding the elements to what I want to do, will suit his voice very well.

Erm not sure the album will come out, there will be a few singles released on Newgrounds, but the album itself is most probably going to be available on Amazon and Spotify as have my last thirteen (minus Dystopian project that was taken down due to copyright problems, which the whole album was original, I couldn't argue with the contract holder, because they threated to pull all albums.

I've just finished writting the last song today for Diamond records (Parlophone), may get Al to do vocals as well, see how things go as I still quite a lot of work to do before I would even consider these pieces I've made be commecial products, see what happens anyway!

Star System Alpha.

I while back, probably last year I released a mini series called "Star System Alpha", my new song which is called "Betazoid" is kind of the final track of the series which will be uploaded and put onto my Youtube play list, Links below. Betazoid is a fairly dark EDM track, with a majority of the percussion section coming from sounds which I've sampled around the house. I also used a different and possibly my favourite vocoder, which is the Behringer Virtulizer, which is chained to the Yamaha Tyros as the primary sound source (Control), as this unit is available for around £80, hats off to Behringer making a really good, clean and fun vocoder. I also used a Virus which is a desktop synthesiser, this I used for all the growls. I used a new reverb today which was from a Lexicon unit.

Update: Just made track called Stabbed in the back, hope you enjoy this work as after tonight I have to give the Virus back as I rented it. Amazing piece of kit which is very versitile. This track is chock full of alot of effects I've made from scratch and has a really good flow.

So I've as long as playing keyboards, my hands have always wondered, DJX, another keyboard, synth and Organs (which I dearly miss, as I had a Hammond Cougar and A110 (tone wheel organ). I know the studio has a C3, but thats not the point)). So I went out with money which I've saved from giving up smoking and bought myself a new keyboard. I got a M-Audio Keystation 61 for about £100 a punt. A mate picked up a amplifier at the same time from some dodge queezer for a tenner, its a Vox Mini 3. About a hundred quids worth. So we maybe hitting the streets with his poetry and my musical talent. So there maybe a release coming up with me and Al at some point. I'm slowly churning out new work, but maybe once every few days now, as I'm working this album and want to be making better work in the long run.

I've heard from the vines that you can nolonger say your work has inspired by other groups as you may sued. Anyone is this relevant and where it came from. Holiday for a month and I'm well out of wack about news and things.

So I've been to see Jean Michel Jarre, nearly brought back the T-shirts (which they wanted around $60 for the privilege...and they were not even official merchandise). We saw and heard his bizzare synthesis, lasers and lights. He even did a jingle on his laser harp, and at the same time the laser lighting was set so low...if you actually wanted to see him perform it was like some type of forced, involuntary laser eye surgery. He played Oxygene one through to four, Equinox four, Oxygen seventeen and nineteen, as well as finishing up with playing an extra couple of minutes playing the Pet Shop Boys, collaboration on his swanky new Korg keytar. Since we saw him play live in Brighton fives months ago, hes been aquiring instruments like extra keyboards and a electric guitar, which he seamlessly integrated into his act. I've come back with a head full of ideas, and after my studio computer had died in the month of absence (Failed SSD primary HHD PCIe card and CPU cooler). We've spent the last couple of days, hunting the problem down, reinstalling Windows and Cubase and all the gubbins which come on my system, I've only just started experimenting again.

So there will be new material out, but if this comes out before my studio album "Contact" comes out I don't know, I'll sit on it a few more days and tell you guys whats going on.

Thanks for the well wishes on my last post.

But I've had a really holiday, just wish that some messages I received when I got back including someone stating that I don't take lightly to constructive critism is completly wrong, I just wish people left contructive critism on my videos, instead of being complete dicks about it.

What can I say, quite a compliment really, Thankyou all! Just getting ready to go to Spain and France and to see Jean Michel Jarre play live, so won't be able to make any music, I'll be bringing the Melodica and Accordion with me, so I won't go mad in the mean time. So basically see you next month!

New equipment just aquired.

So after years of searching for a used an fully working tape Echo, I bought myself a used Roland RE-201, with newly brand new tape, this I got for around £500 which is an absolute bargain for a fully working unit, as they usually go for £1K+, I've had a WEM Copycat for about five years but had constant tape problems with the unit, I heard the RE-201's were pretty stable units so went out and purchased one on Ebay on auction. I also at the same time got a new two new synthesisers, one Moog mini moog, and a Alesis A6, which I got both in a private auction for about a grand for both units. I also got myself a Small Stone Phaser pedal, which I've wanted to pair up with the Logan string synth ever since I witnessed Kebu playing, on a rendition of Chase by Giogio Moroder, which was fantstic performance and the string pad he used was on Logan/Hohner, Sting harmony, So I purchased a broken Logan with transformer issues a couple of months ago, and with small stone I'm able to get really cool pad sounds out of it. You guys will probably have to wait until after I get back france to see Jean Michel Jarre, as I'm going away for a month, so will not be able to release any music in that time, I could take the laptop, but I want a general break from music for a bit, as with studio work and the new contract, I've been making music nearly solidly for the past month or so, and its starting to draw on a bit,

I realeased a new song today called "Be Free without me" it when done will be one of my releases, I've done some vocal work on it, I really need to find a vocalist to do a prober job on it so you're kind of lumped with my vocal on this first draft, its not bad, but will defiently need a seasoned vocalist to complete a final releasable piece of music, I spent about as long and used the same techniques as Concept to make it. I designed all the sound from scratch, and it was inspired by many people, if you like Rock/ New wave take a listen to my first draft tell me what you think, it may get a bit repedative by=ut I really liek the song and it definetly a dancable Synth wave/ New wave track. Its in a completly different style to my couple of New wave tracks and it touches on a very thick 80's style new wave sound.

Anyway until next time happy browsing!

So we've been making music on here for the last decade (me the last three years and Fireball01e has been on here now for seven years). Fireball's early work like the Vortex http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/202574 which went down fairly well as well as his GTA One mix which got nearly a thousand views, I've seen similar results, with Evil Ed and Tripping without love (the latter I think is a shit song, at the studio we all agree why on earth did it get 3K views and 89 downloads?). When stuff like Do You Love Me? (Take Me Back), http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/701109, which got nearly thirty five thousand plays on YouTube got about four hundred here (and that's only because I've called it a flagship product and has been viewed numerous times by people, including Parlophones sister studio company, which is the main song they signed me on, so what the hell is going on?

I know listening to Creo, ZerryX and Paragon, that occasionally my mixes are not upto scratch, but I guess this is the first question really is being a more younger generation of people viewing my music on Newgrounds, how many of you use phone and tablet speakers to view them with? As I know my music is not optimised for tinney speakers like those found on phones! I make my mixes compatible with high grade studio reference speakers, studio main monitors and my KRK's which are Nearfield monitors.

I do also make my mixes headphone freindly, and this mastering takes a lot of time to do, plus the extra time I take to mix it down so everythings in the right place frequency wise. I really thought that "Do You Love Me (Take me Back)" might have taken off like it did on YouTube as I had my Jazzy piano played by me acoustically, on a old branner electric grand piano which was modified specifically for the piece I did, as well thinking it was so good I went out a purchased a copy of Alicia's Key's. You have me singing using state of the art vocoders. provided by early 80's Roland units.

The track was mastered in New York at a company called Sterling Sound and Audio, and it where not cheap, its played with clarity on every system I played it on. I got three comments on the track one saying to turn up vanguard which I did and it clearly ruined the mix, another that was very positive, and the last which gave me all out praise for the song. But I guess for some reason while the single at this point has sold nearly thirty three thousand copies, I get emails on Newgrounds either telling me I've ripped someone off which I'm pretty sure if I did Parlophone wouldn't have signed me, secondly I get emails telling me that it hurt ears.

The last was funny to me as it's my song, I get told to remove it because I released it first (check out their channel and low and behold they have re-released my work without permission getting thousands of views, that then begs the extra question: if someone else releases on the portal and they can get that many views, what the hell am I doing wrong. I will say now I politely asked them to remove it or risk being sued, he promptly removed it siting that he wasn't the only one, but wouldn't tell me who they were).

Thats a pig fucker, but I go on release music which I think is cool, I had turned off the download feature as people were being gracious enough to rob my music on the site and upload it to Youtube, Facebook, Soundcloud and Bandcamp (For money which really pisses me off!) and during the time I've got the download feature off they are using another website to get my music off and still upload it. I start getting complaints that people want to download my music. So I re-enabled it which Fucking pisses me off, so my choices is now....Do I stop posting my music on the internet! Fullstop as I can get releases though my record company now, or do I carry on with shit viewer ship, everyone stealing my music left right and centre. I might just completly pack it in after my launch album with Parlophone as I'm getting fustrated that people don't give a flying monkies tooshe, and are just in it to get my cool track for Geometry Dash, release levels with that music with a link or re-upload it so they can say they did the track themselves. I can't do anything about it, and this sitution as an artist is amazingly fucked. What do people think I should do...Throw in towel, go on the next hurdle or, leave Newgrounds.

Fireball01e has very similar views.

I'll also add that I'm getting really annoyed at who ever keeps on impulsively Zero-bombing my tracks as soon as they come out, I've tested it by putting three stars on my self after a day, and it always ends up as about one and a half stars, if im lucky, and this is on a majority of my releases...
