The new song I released this song this morning and is called Concept 4.

This song was inspired by Jean Michel Jarres, Electronica World Tour's beginning song which called "Automatic". This again is completely original and took a while to produce. I've worked on this track for the last four days making this new sound scape from scratch using mainly Vanguard, then recorded and used as samples for Xfer Serum. I hope you enjoy it: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/760812

I've just released the five concept tracks now as a complely re-mastered album, its on Spotify and Amazon.

I've also released both a re-edited version of "Heartless" @ https://www.amazon.com/Heartless-Exedist/dp/B074V6BVJY/ref=sr_1_1?s=dmusic&ie=UTF8&qid=1502988796&sr=1-1-mp3-albums-bar-strip-0&keywords=exedist+heartless or Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/0mMSKB4mDVz74OoorIFWAq

Also my new album "Exedist sings" @ https://www.amazon.com/Exedist-Sings/dp/B074VCYW8B/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502988706&sr=8-1&keywords=exedist or Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/20jFRKbmTfdJVmNx5TX8kt

They are all reasonably priced =)

Freedom is a track that I made when a friend I knew back in high school took utterly the wrong path in life, started smoking dope when he was a teenager, then went on to become a heroin addict, we were on contact via Bookface (never face to face) until about a year and half ago when I found out he died of a overdose. I wrote freedom as a warning, a PSA and it has been a very regular stage piece for me. The audience have requested it as encore material before, I hate playing it now as it brings back to many harsh memories. This morning after a year of wanting to do a follow up piece I released "Valuable Friend" which has much harsher tone to it, and is from what out of happened in his final years, but with a touch of hope, which unfortenatly he never found. There's a couple of David Bowie references in there, Ashes to Ashes and few other pieces. The main reason I was prompted to write this, is because my new friends cousin recently came to the same fate, heroin kills like most drugs, but this one is a particually nasty drug, which litrially destroys your soul, mind and body from the inside out.

Two albums, one is a compilation called "Exedist Sings" the other is a rock, electro-industrial and metal album called "Heartless".

These albums will be available on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, Deezer and Google music. Both are compilations of some of my most popular work in the last six months, and has taken a lot of planning to get this release right! Heartless is seven tracks and Exedist Sings is nineteen tracks. I still have to get full approval from mastering artist, and after I will become available throughout the English speaking world...Heartless has already before been released as a test bootleg on Mixcloud and got really good reviews, Exedist Sings the majority of the work had been before released through Newgrounds, music portal and again got pretty good reviews. Pretty much all the tracks have vocals on them which different from my other albums before which were pretty much all instrumentals, with the odd vocal track in there. After seeing what did and didn't sell over six months I've built new albums with completely original music and tracks which people may actually want to hear. I've also done extensive re-training and research and created sounds from the 70's up to the mid 00's, and I've been inspired by legends like Giorgio Moroder and Trevor Horn, and greatly improved on the sounds of my overall tracks and mixes.
Any way more information to come when it becomes available, and I hope everyone likes my newer releases!

Your's Stu (Exedist Music Reg '96)

P.S there is unreleased bonus material on both albums as well so its gonna good!

I just finished Concept 5.0 which is a mashup of different EDM styles, examples are like Glitch, 8 bit, Dubstep, Dance, its still retains a slight 80's feeling to it and I played everything in as per normal, obviously I edited it but I'm really happy withall result.
I justspoke to the Fireball and he asked about Concept 4.0 (The missing link), which I assure you is coming but I haven't scored it yet, but I want to sound much better than concept 1.0 which did really well and got some really good reviews. I would recreate the original or do an extended remix but thats upto the communtity of large, I would easily find it boring as hell, because I only really creating completly original works of art, and I hate doing remixes as a majority of remixes are pretty lame. But I want to make a memorable track so what its turn like is
anyones guess, but I've decided to do a research project first, and get reinspired, by what I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I'll figure something out.

This is what I've got as part of the Concept, well you probably could call it a mini album. They all have there own character.

This is Concept Round 1 the origin, which is pretty cool in its own right! http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/700566

This is Concept Round 2, this used elements adapted from number one:  http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/742904

This is Concept Round 3, This again has original elements but has very different structure to it: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/757575

As you can see each files got its own style and the inception of Concept Round 5 takes it to a experimental level, I like the new track, to be honest it doesn't wash with me as I think Dubstep isn't the best and think it could had a bit more variation, but any who its done and I ain't sending it back. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/760596

The whole point of concept is they are meant to be experimental tracks, or types of styles I haven't done before. I hope you like series so far! Quite a few afternoons have been spent perfecting them...

Update: Just posted all my good and great works to my record company which I've dealt with for a while. Album may or may not be released in the next few weeks! Its called "Exedist Sings" and its a compilation, more details to follow!

Heartless the new version is been released around the same time, which I've omitted a few songs from but again should be a really good album if you like metal! Its going to be a completly vocal album.

Exedist Sings and Heartless will be available as usual on Spotify, Amazon, Google music, maybe iTunes; depending if it passes the approval process! As out of the forteen albums I've released only three ever got onto iTunes! Which absloutely sucks. I also think it might be availble on Deezer. This will be a world wide release and hopefully it goes down well with the general public, which I hope it will as its about six months work for both albums, and you know VSTi's and money don't grow on tree's so I may be able to make some money to spend on more studio equipment. But will say I'm getting a very bad rate for the releases and have in the six months sold over a hundred copies and made about twelth bucks! Take it from me find a proper company to deal with and don't sign the contract unless you fully understand the terms and conditions! They changed their terms about three months ago and according to the contract they allowed to! Which again sucks like noone's business!

Stuart Sings, maybe coming in October to a music platform near you!

So I've been doing a lot of work as some people know with Fireball01e, and I've come to the conclusion that even though my metal album sounded really poo, I should probably just stick to what know best and thats recording and composing 80's style pieces, Electro, Electronica, New wave and Synth pop (while trying to refrain from doing downtempo). So I've decided to do a vocal album with the Fireball and see how it turns out, he released our newest collaboration this morning which is called "You're a Liar" which has me singing on it and its gone down really well.

The other piece I did with him that was "Love of the Century", which I played both piano and did vocal, again people really liked, so now I know my voice properly and I'll set to work on some new compositions!

I'm big fan of 90's video games; Wolf3d, Doom 1, 2 and the ultimate, Chaos Engine, Xenon 2. Some of you know I used to make proffesional game music alongside and where I met Fireball, we created the music for the remake of Xenon (called Xenon 2000), as well as for indie games. I've not done this kind of work since the mid 00's and I wanted to make something to pay homage to all those nights spent playing and sometimes listening to master pieces in there own right. So I made a video game styled rock track called "Why do you care", it's got Doom style drums and piano/EP from Chaos Engine, its completly original and I spent between eleven and about three o'clock in the morning scoring it, as sometimes when something at night, then wake the next morning and listen and your like "UHHH, what the hell I thinking" this track on the other hand, I listened to this morning and I was like wow! that sounds like a electro rock breakout track! So I did a lot of processing when I got up, bounced down many times and layered it. I put in simple singing and hevavily processed that, as well as adding some pads for added depth.

I put up rock track yesterday that is slightly cringe worthy, and isn't the best, I'll try my best to make sure that doesn't happen again as I know from ratings that it didn't go down to well.

My fingers are recovering from recording a dozen with Fireball last night, so watch his channel for some of that to come in out in the near future, I personally made nine tracks yesterday, most of which is ideas for live usage, but the cream of it I released yesterday. Still a lot to be done towards the Charlie Live project, which has a pretty awesome set list as it is, but I've still got to adapt a lot the pieces.

We are planned to open with favourite song last year called "My downfall", this im remaking as a synth ochestral piece, but I'm finding it hard to remake as I love the origial so much. It's mainly about finding the original soundsets, I'm sure I'll make it, but its finding out what arrangement to use. The second is going to be Your Extra Three Seconds/Insania, The dystopian Suite, and Chamberlain for accordion. But its so much different from the studio album versions, that they when recorded will warrant there own post.

Why do you care for me: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/759374

So I a sesh with Fireball tonight, I thought I write this up before we pack the studio up for the night.

We made about twelth pieces, some will be used others will be scrapped, but we pumped out some pretty good work, Fireballs still got to do a bit production on some of the pieces, namely with me playing piano on, I got very sore fingers. Fireball's got a hammer action 88 key MIDI keyboard, which my pansy fingers are not built for.

The two we jointly released tonight are "Living 4 Today" and "Messing with you head", they are both technically challenging tracks, Messing with your head was a f"""kin nightmare, we called it such to reflect this.

I did a bit of work a few days ago on his Equinox but he's made it a lot more, lets say complicated, with him asking me to copy the mid eight to play it live which, I'm good at piano, but I ain't got time to learn that. Still I really enjoyed his output and with that said I will be working a live version with him.

This is my stuff I made this morning!

The Grinder, which is a bit of a experimental track at the moment, but something might come out of it, watch this space....: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/759216

We made a drama production about the difficulties of mental health, which was about a teenager that had spent most of his life in a institution. It was made and shown in the summer of '07 and we played it for a week originally, then because of demand we played an extra four days. I scored the sound track and conducted/played piano, for the whole production.

I'm currently in process of re-recording the whole suite, including its classical overture. Today I have released "Madness" which is the main song of the production. I will release the rest of the material in the coming week.

So tonight I was asked by someone to play my song live at the Brighton Concord, as they liked it when they came across it on Facebook.

So I said yes, brought my kit down and played three of my latest songs including My Downfall, Insania Overture and the Insania after effect and finally I played Tschernobyl live. There was an audience of a few hundred people and they loved it. I've been asked to play again, I was asked for physical albums which I didn't have on me, this was bummer but people asked if they could songs from my set that I played which I haven't even made that album, this is going to be the album I make with Cabooby and won't be available till October. On the way out I bumped into someone who me a buisness card stating that he was thirty year going guitar player and metal style vocalist, so I said I was looking for a guitarist. So now I've got two vocalists, a percussion player, and a guitarist. Amazing stuff, I'm currently just looking for a bass player, which could be electric bass or a synth bass player.

So we are going to start to record from next week, with Trombone, Keyboards/Organs/Accordion, Electric and acoustic guitars, percussion and live drums. I will be also using synthesis using all my custom voicing and new skills which I picked up in sound design. We obviously need new equipment and clothes before I go back on stage.

I will do a bi-weekly update on here as well as occasionally releasing sound bites of work we are recording. We also have my father and his old worrk mate engineer for us. We have access to old valve equipment form the 50's and 60's and a Neve console, with EMI mic pre's.

The new album is going to available for a very reasonable three quid for a 12 track CD and jewel case. For people internationally we may have it availble for digital download, but to work we need find a new store because I'm not going through Fresh tunes as in my experience they are basically ripping me off. Bandcamp might be used but I need to talk to our manager and see what he wants to do.

Thankyou everyone for kind comments and constructive crititism as this is really helpful in overall development of my music and finding a completly original sound that people like and can relate to.
